A flat rack container is a heavy-duty steel platform with fixed or collapsible ends and no sides — the unit for loads that are too wide, too heavy, or too irregular for a closed box. Machinery, vehicles, steel, and prefabricated structures all move and store on flat racks.

Buying a flat rack

Check the deck and end-wall condition, the lashing points, and the rated payload against your load. Collapsible-end racks fold flat when empty, which makes them easy to stack and reposition between jobs.
