This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how Sentinel Containers LLC ("Sentinel Containers," "we," "us") delivers shipping containers and related products. It is part of our Terms of Sale.

1. Service area

We deliver across the continental United States. Deliveries to remote or difficult-access locations may incur additional fees, which we quote before your order is confirmed. We currently sell and deliver within the United States only and do not ship internationally.

2. Delivery method

Containers are delivered by specialized equipment (for example, a tilt-bed or roll-off truck, or a flatbed with crane/forklift for placement). The delivery method depends on the unit size and your site. You may also arrange to pick up your unit from our yard where available.

3. Processing and delivery times

After your order is accepted and payment clears, we schedule delivery and provide an estimated window. Typical delivery is approximately 7–10 business days, but timing varies with location, availability, weather, permits, and carrier schedules. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Consistent with the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Rule, if we cannot meet a stated shipment time we will notify you and offer a revised date or a cancellation for a full refund.

4. Shipping costs

Delivery charges are based on the container's size and weight, distance to your site, site accessibility, and any special equipment required. Costs are quoted and disclosed before your order is confirmed. Large or multi-unit orders may receive a separate freight quote.

5. Site preparation and access — your responsibility

Before delivery, you must ensure that:

  • the delivery vehicle has clear, safe access to the drop site (adequate road and gate width, overhead clearance, and turning room);
  • the ground is firm and level enough to support the container and the delivery equipment;
  • there is sufficient space to maneuver and unload; and
  • any permits or approvals required by your locality or property owner are obtained in advance.

If the site is not ready or accessible on the scheduled day, we may charge a redelivery or wait-time fee, and you are responsible for damage to the unit, the equipment, or property caused by site conditions you represented as suitable. We are not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, underground utilities, or other surfaces resulting from agreed-upon access and placement.

6. Delivery day, inspection, and risk of loss

Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery (or pickup), as stated in our Terms of Sale. Please inspect the container on arrival and note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery paperwork before the driver leaves.

7. Damage or shortage claims

If your unit arrives damaged or items are missing, contact us within 3 business days of delivery with your order number, a description, and photographs. We will investigate and work with the carrier as needed. See our Returns & Refund Policy for resolution of damaged or defective units.

8. Delays beyond our control

We are not liable for delays caused by carriers or by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, road conditions, traffic, and labor or supply-chain disruptions. We will keep you informed and reschedule as promptly as practicable.
