Open-roof containers for oversized or top-loaded cargo.
An open top container swaps the steel roof for a removable tarpaulin, so cargo can be loaded from above by crane — machinery, timber, scrap, and anything too tall for standard doors. Removable roof bows support the tarp; the rest of the container is standard corrugated steel.
Where open tops fit
Open tops are working containers more than storage boxes: they suit crane-served yards, plant moves, and over-height loads. For weatherproof storage, a standard dry or high cube unit is usually the better buy — and we'll tell you straight if that's the case.
